About

Mrs. Piper

My name is Emily Piper and I am the teacher at Creative Tree. During high school I discovered my love for teaching while taking Child Development. I then pursued my dreams and received my Associate of Applied Science Degree in Child and Family Studies. Since then I have taken numerous classes in Early Childhood Education, including those at Western Oregon University.

I strongly believe children learn best through creative activities and play. My goal as an educator is to help each child develop a lifelong love of learning and respect for others.

Starting this fall, these are some of the things we will be learning...

  • Letters A-Z and their sounds
  • Numbers 1-20
  • Colors
  • Shapes
  • Patterns
  • Sizes
  • Rhymes
  • Fine motor skills (cutting, tracing, gluing, etc.)
  • Writing our names
